Mentoring

Are you interested in mentoring? Experienced Nursing Deans can participate in a 4-month mentoring scheme as part of our Developing Deans program.

Who can be a Mentor?

Mentors are expected to:

    Be a current or former dean or director
    Have 5+ years of institutional leadership experience
   

How do I Mentor?

Mentors will be assigned 1-2 mentees according to project topics and areas of expertise at the start of the program. Mentors will use online tools such as Skype and e-mail to provide guidance, advice and support to program participants. It is expected that Mentors commit at least 6 sessions over the course of 4 months for discussion and feedback with your assigned mentee. 

What is the Time Commitment?

Mentors will be expected to commit a minimum of 6 sessions to supporting their mentee over the course of 4 months. The program runs from July 23, 2018 – November 9, 2018.

How do I Sign Up?

Interested mentors should send a 1-page letter of interest should detail your experience, areas of expertise and why you are interested in mentoring. The applicant must submit a CV to the Program Officer, mentoring@betanudelta.com by March 30, 2018.

Upon acceptance, Mentors will be required to sign a Mentoring Agreement acknowledging their commitment to the program.
