Zarah Borines Received DNP Degree

The Nevada-based Beta Nu Delta Nursing Society member recently received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree recently from Touru University. Zarah Borines, RN, DNP who hails from Biliran Province,  is currently a faculty member of the College of Nursing, Nevada State Colleges. He DNP capstone project is entitled, "Implementation of Mentorship Program in the Emergency Department at Touro University" 

Prior to her academic post, Dr Borines worked for a considerable time as an ER nurse at one the largest hospitals -- Summerlin Medical Center -- in Las Vegas.

Dr. Borines received her Masters of Science in Nursing  from Grand Canyon University (2013), and her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Cebu Doctors University (1997). She began her nursing career at St. Elizabeth Hospital in General Santos City in the early 2000s. 

In 2011, she was the recipient of the 7th Joseph Eribaren Memorial Nursing Lecture held at Notre Dame of Dadiangas University, General Santos City
