Dr. Jude L. Tayaben Named Dean of BSU College of Nursing

Benguet State University has appointed Jude L. Tayaben, PhD, RN, as the new Dean of the College of Nursing. His appointment was effective 8 January 2019.

Dr. Tayaben succeeded Prof. Doris S. Natividad, MAN, RN, who was named Dean of the College of Nursing in 2012.

Dr. Tayaben joined Benguet State University in 2013 after a clinical stint at Kalinga Provincial Hospital. He obtained his BS Nursing degree at BSU and his Master's degree in Nursing at Lorma Colleges in La Union. He completed his PhD in Nursing Education from St. Paul University Manila in 2018. Dr. Tayaben holds membership with the Philippine Nurses Association, Mother and Child Nurses Association in the Philippines, Philippine Nursing Research Society, and the Beta Nu Delta Nursing Society.

I look forward with excitement at the opportunity to serve there, helping the College to advance the science and practice of nursing, while continuing to produce world-class graduates.”
