Visiting Fellowship Scheme

The purpose of appointing Visiting Fellows is to contribute to the intellectual life of the Beta Nu Delta Nursing Society and its partner institutions. The Fellows are open to all scholars who wish to spend time at the Society, or establish stronger links with its members. There is no deadline for applications to be a Visiting Fellow, and Fellowships can run for any length of time between two weeks and three years. Applicants should contact Professor Prof. Jerome Babate, who will then liaise with you on the completion of the Visiting fellowship application form and the Fees and workspace application form .

Visiting Fellows should agree in advance with the Society about what is expected from the Fellowship. These would normally include one or more of the following:

Giving seminars to faculty and students or Guest Lectures within an undergraduate or postgraduate course
Production of a working paper or equivalent
Giving advice to, or engaging in knowledge exchange with students, faculty and research staff
Production of a collaborative research proposal with a member of faculty

What can BND offer Visiting Fellows?

Fellowships will include use of the library. Depending on individual requirement and School availability, they may also include access to office space and a PC. The School and University's infrastructure and environment can support the Fellow's research activity.

What are the fees associated with Visiting Fellowships?

Visiting Fellowships incur a fee to cover costs of administration and allocated resources, although this is subject to variation depending on funding available to the applicant, and the perceived contribution the applicant can make to the school's academic life. Concerning the fees please refer to Prof. Babae.
