Former Congressman Mario J. Aguja, Ph.D Keynoted BND Event

"Beta Nu Delta Nursing Society is an important vehicle of not only developing community leaders from your profession but also in driving excellence in the delivery of health care services to the people", so said a prominent political leader and activist.

Prof. Mario J. Aguja, Ph.D was the keynote speaker in the 3rd Darlene Dilangalen Borromeo Student Nursing Leadership Awards held at Casa Luisa, General Santos City last December 5, 2009. Dr. Aguja was a former two-term congressman having served between 2002 and 2007 in the House of Representatives.

Dr. Aguja received his BA Sociology at Mindanao State University, MA Sociology at UP Diliman and his Ph.D International Cooperation at Nagoya University. He was once a fellow of the United Nations University in Tokyo, Japan.

This event was coordinated by the Beta Nu Delta Nursing Society Inc. Alumni Council (now a professional chapter) under the leadership of Mairelle Paje, RN.
