Dr. Rose Constantino Visiting Nurse Scholar at NDMU

Koronadal City, South Cotabato — Tuoted as one of the top-ranked higher educational institutions in Southern Philippines, Notre Dame of Marbel University hosted the first Dr. Rose Constantino Visiting Nurse Scholar. Dr. Linell G. Malimbag as its premiere lecturer. This initiative is made possible by Beta Nu Delta Nursing Society, Inc.










Dr. Malimbag, is the current dean of the Davao Doctors College and an active nurse leader in the country. She was formerly the national chairperson of the Philippine Nurses Association. Presently, she holds national leadership position at the Association of Deans of the Philippine Colleges of Nursing (ADPCN).


"From this rank of MA nursing students will come the next generation of leaders who will shape the future of the nursing profession in this country" according to Dr. Malimbag as she was referring to a need for nursing leadership in the health care and educational arena where the mindset is rapidly transforming into business and entrepreneurship.


Prof. Tessie Osoy, RN, MAN and the graduate school dean, Dr. Susan Dorado together with the MAN students were on hand to listen to this worthwhile lecture of Dr. Malimbag.

Dr. Rose Constantino is a globally-renowned forensic nursing expert and is based at the School of Nursing, University of Pittsburgh.
